It will be awesome when someone proposes a development for the Capital Iron parking lot across the street from Ironworks. I'd think some public parking (above ground?) with maybe 3-4 floors of residential/commercial would work well here.

The choice of cars is also a little puzzling.....a Honda Insight, a complete flop of a hybrid and an Audi 2 door hatch that isn't sold in North America.

The insight is coming back on the market this summer as a 4-door compact-to-midsize sedan.

I heard today from a reliable source. The Ironworks project is off the table. Gone. Finito.
Anybody else heard the same thing? Signs have been gone and so is Le Fevre's interest (apparently).

I just registered to get more info. I'll advise if they advise me the project won't be proceeding.

Wouldn't be the first time my reliable sources were wrong. Also wouldn't be the first time i was wrong. I know, because my wife reminds me of it every single day.

I have sad memories of the time I was wrong, July 8, 1973 IIRC.

This project has been redesigned and the revisions were sent to the city in late January (per dev tracker).

Doesn't look "mean" anymore. I didn't really like the old one but wow this kills the whole vibe it was trying for.
