Victoria's highly anticipated new Nightclub is opening soon! Polished & sophisticated; meeting the expectations of a mature and trendy crowd.

So by "expectations", we are not allowed to climb the new JSB or piss on the Janion after we leave?  Sounds like too many rules already.  And my 19-year-old gf will be upset she can not go with me.

The first expectation of a mature crowd is proper grammar and punctuation  :teacher:

Its been many years since I skulked about any nightclub either here or in Vancouver with any frequency, with the notable exception these days of our annual Boys Whistler trips, but one thing I always thought Victoria should've offered was more live/bar experiences instead of "techno".

The former format was by far the more popular option in YVR, including the iconic Commodore, the Yale (world class live blues), the Biltmore Cabaret, the venerable Kits Pub and the Side Door also in Kitsilano, which was hugely popular with the UBC crowd. Victoria it seemed to me was sorely lacking in that department, with the notable exception of Harpo's, which of course closed several years ago.
