It can be, for sure. That’s why more pressure on that facility will be a good thing.

Same sort of deal along the 900-block of Pandora where you now have three reside residential projects slated to look over the block.

I really don't see these facilities going anywhere, the question to me is how long will the building last.  I spoke to someone from BC Housing awhile back and apparently one resident completely stripped their room of drywall.  They said there is 24/7 security there and no one saw someone packing pieces of drywall out.  The theory was that the person crushed up the drywall and carried it out in their pockets.  Now that's dedication!  I've heard a few other weird stories like that, but you get the idea

It's interesting that the building is sold out, but the estimated date of commencement for Vivid is NEXT September (according to the disclosure statement).

Interesting indeed. Chard probably using the same construction crew for both the Vivid building and Yates building... and since they've already committed to building the Yates first, the crew will be unavailable?

Both buildings will share foundation/parking/and a 3rd floor podium... so I assume those sections will be built sort of together?

No because he crumpled it up into cat litter size pieces and carried it out in his pockets.  I have to assume it was a mental/drug issue.  I will give him points for dedication because that is a lot of work

This may have already been asked, but is a second crane going to be installed on this project?

Walked by the other day: the base of the second crane is built and the bottom part of the crane itself is installed.

The excavator being used to remove the final soil has an arm extension on it......crazy reach down into the hole.
