Hmmmmm

http://news.national...ducted-children

This is the Vancouver Island woman that had her kids taken to Iran.

No local coverage of this story (she met the kids in Iran) except CHEK, she she refused an interview with.

Indeed, but the CHEK story was about the National Post article.  It was very big news when she was trying to find them.

In most circles saying "I think" implies you know something to be true.

I think that's the craziest thing I've ever seen posted on this board.

I think we need an amalgamated police force. Make it so.

OK, the suspected Shelbourne Shooter is Dennis Salvador.

http://www.timescolo...-car-1.20241220

He's charged with attempted murder.

Now, the guy that is accused of two counts of accused murder  (by vehicle) is likely to be released on bail this Tuesday.  As long as he promises to go straight to Montreal.

I was listening to this on the scanner last night, it was intense! I'm surprised there wasn't a major accident, she rammed police vehicles, tried to run over officers, intentionally rammed into occupied vehicles at random...

"lady in hit and run of many, was in high speed chase in Oak Bay, then Vic P.D. - both were called off due to high speeds and running reds. Saanich then found her near U-vic tried to stop her, she missed but the girl crashed in a ditch and rolled the car, ran. Dog got her. Many, many charges to come"

Oak Bay Tea Party this weekend.

Will security be stepped up in light of the machete guy still on the loose?

This is pretty lame. It wasn't a "body found," it was an obvious suicide. DeRosa knew what it was just like anyone else who was listening to the scanner. And it wasn't a parks employee who found the man, it was two members of the public who alerted him to their discovery and he called 911 when he believed he had glimpsed what the two individuals were reporting.

The incident occurred at Gorge Park on the Saanich side.

"Body found" insinuates a mystery. A clear suicide is what this was. The TC ought to know better. - http://www.timescolo...park-1.20321204

Someone siphoned gas out of my truck last night on View Street, lol. I got in this morning and discovered I had no gas left. So this morning I filled it up to just shy of a quarter litre of its full capacity, which means they got me pretty good.

The lowest amount of fuel I've ever had left in the tank when the the electronic gas calculator said "zero" was still about 2.5 litres (82 litre tank), but this morning it was literally a quarter of a litre or something, just whatever was left in the abyss of the tank and in the lines   :teacher:
