An 834 resident today:
Some ****** from the fourth floor at 844 Johnson shot a pellet gun into the ninth floor of our building Saturday night and put three holes in my friends condo windows

I wonder if it's the same shooter as before or if all the residents at 844 Johnson have pellet guns now? Perhaps the mayor will give this person an award for marksmanship.

Well, he did get his 30-day sentence "in the community" and with the no-eviction policy at 844 he might still be there.

A friend of mine had his bike stolen a few weeks back. He found it at Reese's park (aka new tent city). Last time I walked by there (>month ago) there were already two bike chop shops there. Of course, police is totally fine with this.
It resembles a TDF pile up.

A resident of The 834 on Johnson Street confirms two panes of glass were damaged by the shots.
The incident took place while individuals were within the unit. There were no injuries, but two panes of glass will have to be replaced.

I don't seem to recall this making the news. I wonder why?
I guess CHEK had more significant stories to air.

I wonder if the building moved into the path of the pellets like the car before.
The shots came from the grassy knoll.

How long till this isn't just a pellet gun? What do we do when the next time it is a real gun?

Slap the person's wrist a little harder?

Hmmm, the article says that most of the stuff in doorways in Oxford was donated by the public. In Victoria, it was involuntarily donated by the public.Oxford UK councils take on the issue:

I noticed at the Courthouse park that three of the new small trees planted opposite the Y are already dead, plus one of the original large trees is already brown, so could be dying too. I guess it will have to be cut down eventually.

Perhaps they didn't get all the contaminated soil removed.*
* more likely poor maintenance after being planted

Must be a bad planting, not contaminated soil. If there's fentanyl in there you'd think the tree would be growing a foot a day, no?
