Foundation has been poured, the mechanical level has been added above the third storey and flooring is going in between the levels. Thinking this will start moving pretty quickly if they can find the trades to do so.

I'm pretty excited about this. We (Vic Westerners) pretty much only have Spinnaker's (I guess Lure too) as a decent place to sit down for a meal and an adult beverage or two.

^ Last I heard Browns is scheduled for a fall opening with ~30-40 craft beer taps. No work has started on the space yet - it still very much looks like an abandoned bank, drapes and all.

 

I like the Merridale building, especially the rooftop! Let's hope their brewhouse and distillery put out some good product.

The bakery at Dockside Green has booze, too, and soon the new marina will have a restaurant.

Correct, the changes were 90% related to window placement with some light material tweaks. The north wall and entrance identity is what we changed the most. We are going before Council at Committee on April 5th

Given all the other action in town, Dockside Green has been very silent since the Bosa purchase. Now that the new bridge is in place this parcel of land is looking mighty interesting.

^ True that. I've been wondering when we'll see some action at Dockside Green. I keep thinking the Minis and BMWs can only be a temporary use of the corner of Harbour Road and Esquimalt.

That corner is actually owned by another party and was not included in the Bosa Development purchase of DG from VanCity.

That corner has some cool car plans coming Ive heard!! Think the Bosa sale just recently completed this year so may take a little time.

The newest three story building (name unknown?), in front of the Madrona, is nearing completion. Noticed a lot of furniture has already been moved into the upper two floors, where I'm assuming the legal offices will be. Would expect they already have occupancy to do this. 

 

Hoping the Merridale building breaks ground soon. Anyone else have DG updates?

It will be high Class A office with Acheson Law on the top two floors. Retail on ground is currently for lease through Colliers. Sister building of the office build across.
