Is the Ambrosia market closed? I can't recall what's currently occupying that space.

Know it all.

It now under new ownership. It's called the Tin Roof and it's fantastic. Much better than Ambrosia ever was.

Ok great, so there'll be four markets at Cook Street Village then. That's impressive.

They are open now. I went in, looked at the prices and walked out. I don't care how much someone makes, there is no way I am paying $6-7 for a 2 liter organic milk.

Organic Milk is 8 dollars for a four litre at Walmart.

It has a whole new look!

A retired local farmer who was in the milk business told me all local milk is essentially organic, even if it can't all be labelled as such.

I love natural food markets, so I was really excited about checking this one out.

The prices are ridiculous, especially for fresh fruit and veggies. I don't know who they think will be able to buy any of it. I am well aware and okay with paying a little more for natural and local produce, but I'm pretty sure my local Save On Foods charges less then these guys do for the couple of organic things they carry.

Unfortunately while I was checking this place out, I was overtaken by insane hunger pangs and quickly found the deli section which charged me more then a dish at a restaurant for a tiny container of roasted veggies and a tiny container of artichokes.

While they have a great selection, I will not be back anytime soon.

Was excited by this opening but also saddened by the prices. It just means we won't go there either. A little more expensive is OK for the convenience but I think they are pricing themselves out...

What's the price discrepancy between Lifestyles and this place?

I wouldn't be so taken aback by the prices if the traditional products Mother Nature's sold weren't significantly overpriced as well. I mean there's no reason to pay $3-something for a container of almond milk that costs $2.29 at Red Barn (two months ago, $1.89, btw).
