This is the Cedar Hill Rec Centre. The Gordon Head Rec Centre is out by Lambrick Park.

I couldn't find your 'aging' quote in the article. Am I missing something?

I think this has opened.
"Beaver, ahoy!""The bridge is like a magnet, attracting both pedestrians and over 30,000 vehicles daily who enjoy the views of Victoria's harbour. The skyline may change, but "Big Blue" as some call it, will always be there."

It is open with new pottery areas, daycare facility, bathrooms and new dance studio. Also they have a exhibit room for local artists. It looks really good, definately aiming for the arts crowd.
