CRD inviting feedback on Sea to Sea Green Blue Belt management plan

The Capital Regional District is inviting the public to provide input for a draft management plan guiding the decision-making process for Ayum Creek, Kapoor, Sea to Sea, and Sooke Potholes parks. All four parks are located within the Sea to Sea Green Blue Belt protected areas.

From the CRD press release on the public sessions:

The Sea to Sea Green Blue Belt, and these four park units, contain significant environmental and cultural resources in addition to outstanding recreational opportunities such as hiking, mountain biking, swimming and equestrian use. These non-motorized activities will enable park visitors to remain in close touch with the natural environment.

The public sessions will be held in Sooke on Tuesday, November 24th, 3:30PM to 7:45PM, at the Sooke Community Hall, 2037 Shields Rd., and in Victoria on Tuesday, December 1st, 3:30PM to 7:45PM, at the Ambrosia Centre, 638 Fisgard St.
