Now if we could extrapolate this being the perfect size of a new 'large' landmark building for that community based on the population and needs, I wonder what the size would be for a similar project given Victoria's population.

The only thing Victorians love more than fatscrapers is complaining about fatscrapers after they've been built.
Also, wouldn't this be the largest project Sidney has seen in twenty years at least?

I couldn't see towers in Sidney, plus I don't think they would be allowed due to the airport being so close. I think it's the Richmond for Greater Victoria.

It also hide all business to the north of it; the marina, three restaurants, a gallery, the marine museum at the marina and the rock museum. All of these business will suffer because of it.

Even if it is much too wide, and even if it does need a big cut-out between the two sections. Maybe a complete separation of the two sections.
The glass looks nice. Is not there a curved detail of some sort on the other side? Did I dream that?
We should get a stamp made that reads, "Too wide."

Because they can.
Nobody's forcing them to build slim towers with small footprints.

Here in Sidney it isn't just mountains but also the Sea and beach....
So for those who live behind the Pier...The last mock up is what these people see.
