I can not believe that one, why even post the pictures? Why not at least clear the garbage out?

Bank probably considers it a waste of cash, leave it to the buyers.

When she handed it back after looking at the pictures we had a good long laugh.

Might want to lock that sliding glass door lest you venture out at night half asleep and do a Wile E. Coyote in mid air.
It's an intriguing challenge for a motivated handyman. If you can stomach the cleanup and renos, and if the building is structurally sound the potential to make a tidy profit is good. I wonder what the story is.

The building has been built with only 5' set backs to the boundary, which means all the windows in the unit look onto another house or yard. I am not sure how that sliding glass door can have any balcony because there is no space between the wall the property line for the balcony.
The back only has two small windows looking into the backyard.
What a badly designed building in the first place, and now it is beyond belief what state it has been left in.
Neither of the listing realtors has it on their personal websites

Not sure those 1970's style sinks are going to help sell the place...

There is a person in the background of one of the pics, so likely someone is still there. Real nice neighborhood but... is that small house behind McDonalds on Pandora available I liked that one better..
I saw that. She looks shocked. And is she holding a vacuum? It's like she's saying "hold on, let me get those cobwebs before you take that picture".
Even animals wouldn't live in such squalor. What is wrong with some people?
There are clues to success, or at least aspirations to success, like a clothes steamer and fitness equipment. Only someone with severe depression or mental illness gets into a situation like that. The more you look, the more tragic it all appears.

It looks more like a Winchester.

The realtor knows the owner is asking too much - another reason to post pics. It's practically an invitation for low-ball offers.
Regardless, a sad situation all around. I hope the owner is going for help.
