If the Seahawks win this Sunday, they will likely be at home through the playoffs.

Done deal, they have the bye and home field through the two playoff rounds.

They have looked impressive the 2nd half of the season.

Repeat?

The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks top the list of Canada’s favourite NFL teams.

The Patriots topped the NFL International Fan Engagement Tracker’s list of the most popular teams in Canada (12% of respondents who said they have a favourite NFL team named the Patriots – more than any other team).

And as was the case in 2013, Tom Brady’s #12 is still the best selling NFL jersey in Canada.

Buoyed by a Super Bowl victory and an avid fan base in Vancouver, the Seattle Seahawks became the most popular team in terms of merchandise sales for the first time ever. One year ago the Seahawks were 13th.

Decreasing demand for Buffalo Bills merchandise in Canada caused the team to slip from 5th to 10th on the list.

The consistent, year-over-year Canadian demand for Packers and Steelers merchandise also shows that winning and tradition are factors with Canadian NFL fans.

Here are the ten most popular NFL teams in Canada, based on wholesale sales of NFL team merchandise to Canadian retailers from official licensees like Nike and New era (as of December 2014).

1. Seattle Seahawks
2. New England Patriots
3. Green Bay Packers
4. San Francisco 49ers
5. Denver Broncos
6. Pittsburgh Steelers
7. Oakland Raiders
8. Detroit Lions
9. Chicago Bears
10. Buffalo Bills

I'll say it. Greatest comeback of all time. I've never been so pissed off like that in my life, only to have the team come back and win it. 57 minutes of terrible play and some bad bounces, and then the offense finally shows up to win it. And the reactions of the players afterwards... it was just incredible.

One thing that taints it a bit: the majority of posters on the Seahawks boards were calling the game over waaaay too early. That really bugs me. As I always tell people, you will never witness a great comeback if you give up and turn off the TV. Some people surely turned the game off and missed those final three minutes.

I've never seen anything like it.  Fake field goal when they were desperate, bounce of the guy's head at offside kick.

WTF?

Or worse, you're at the game, give up and leave early, and then somehow think they'll let you back into the stadium after you realize the team is getting back in it.

Seattle Seahawks should thank the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for Jon Ryan and Chris Matthews

I'm liking this little side bet that's sprung up.  Chris Pratt and Chris Evans are pretty cool guys.

It appears that a lot of Victorians have adopted the Seahawks as their own...
