So how many tower cranes are up in and around Victoria?

1 - Swallows Landing
2 - Bayview
1 - Synergy
1 - Parkside
1 - Chelsea
1 - Soaring Peaks

And it looks like the crane for Upper Harbour Place is coming down today.

So we know of 7 tower cranes so far.

Is there one up at the Oswego St. hotel?

Any others?

Yes.. The Aria has a crane.... it's the climbing crane that Campbell used to construct the Mariott..

And it's very busy..

Talking about cranes...

When they put the crane up on Parkside I looked up the maker..

It's a very fine piece of industrial design...

The tower crane up at Bear Mountain is actually for Finlayson Heights, a 9-storey fatscraper twice or thrice as wide as it is tall.

I don't think ground has broken on Soaring Peaks quite yet -- and I don't think its selling very well, either.

Does Swallows Landing still have one?
I was just examining my pics of the SL thread in The Core section and didn't see one, and can't remember seeing one. Same questiion for Shutters.

1 Swallows Landing
2 Bayview x 2
4 Synergy
5 Parkside
6 Chelsea
7 Finlayson Heights
8 Oswego
9 Aria

That's nine of the big tower cranes. I'm not counting those mini cranes building anything 5 floors and under.

^Like the "Our Place" crane on Pandora?
"Beaver, ahoy!""The bridge is like a magnet, attracting both pedestrians and over 30,000 vehicles daily who enjoy the views of Victoria's harbour. The skyline may change, but "Big Blue" as some call it, will always be there."

Mini cranes are discraseful, and dirty. I think I heard someone say that they steal babies in the night. Keep your eyes open, and make sure your baby does'nt get snatched by a city inspired lowrise crane!

The one at our place does have an cab on it though unlike some small cranes that operate from the ground.

Is our place going to be 5 floors or 6?
