That location was also once a Petcetera, but it went to the dogs, and now they will try to re-invent the wheel.

If they get Cody to sit out front that might help.

I'm having trouble with the spelling/punctuation.

Mr. Pet's ?

Are we to believe this is a pet store owned by a guy name Mr. Pet?

Yes. The apostrophe means that the operation is owned by fictional Mr. Pet, singular. That may imply that Mr. Pet may actually be a pet. Not a specific pet, but a panapoly of all pets embodied in an amorphous, singular being.

Or possibly, Mr. Pet could be a human who likes to pet; his name is a verb rather than a noun.

I predict bankruptcy in 1.5 years since it's still owned by the same people.

I dare her to plug that into WebMD and see what comes back.

They need to give it up on a pet store here.  There are 2 Bosleys within 3-4km, plus a Red Barn a bit further out, and both of them have much better stock and prices than anything this hole of a location has ever offered up.

The only positive about this location is it's so dead inside I've parked my cargo bike inside it when shopping there because who cares.

The shape of the space is so awkward for retail.  I bet it would make a killer laser tag place though.

...The shape of the space is so awkward for retail...

The upper level retail spaces were terribly reconfigured when Tillicum moved over to the "big box" format in the early 2000s. Only Coast Capital emerged unscathed.

Now that there's Eagle Creek I have zero reason to go to Tillicum, and I live less than 2km from it.  My wife correctly pointed out that adults only need 3 things in a shopping centre: groceries, coffee and booze.  It's got Tillicum beat on all 3.  Save On is a ripoff and that liquor store is 3rd rate.

Save-On is getting crazy expensive, that's for sure.

Yup, and they have a wide variety of store types, some suited to the urban market, others to farming/rural markets.
