The "Pig" signage has finally come down and classy looking "Superbaba" signs have gone up.

Ate here yesterday and had some pretty amazing falafel. Would definitely recommend it.
They're only open until 8pm this week as they ramp up to full operation. No beer on site yet, but I'm assuming they're working on getting a license.

They keep running out of food. Which in one way is a good thing, in another its meat and bread all over again.

SuperBaba is expanding to Vancouver with a food truck. Hopefully it does well and a brick-and-mortar location follows!

I would spend my money at Yalla Middle Eastern further down Blanshard. Crazy good shawarma, pickles are on point and the falafel and hummus are next level.

Yalla is much better, I agree.
Superbaba and Tacofino are just too in love with their mayonnaise sauces. The food is good, don't get me wrong, just not fabulous.

As mentioned by Jackerbie elsewhere on the forum:
Another one for the list of Victoria businesses opening up shop on the mainland: Superbaba will be opening a location in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant neighbourhood
