Anyone have a store they recommend, both for shopping at and for consigning?

I am. I am very picky about what I take in. I donate lesser brand clothing.
The worse are the ones that want you to make an appointment a month out...and when you go in the store it is always empty.
When I am ready to consign I want to do it quickly and painlessly.

Seems a sexist topic. Why aren't there Men's clothing consignment stores?
(well, I expect most women's stores have a men's section -- after all, women do shop for their men and love a bargain)
Women in Need, is a pretty big used clothing store (but I think they deal in receiving donations, not consignments).

Value Village.
A Corporate Giant, who kicks back a token to charities as a PR stunt.
They accept donations but no way do they handle consignments, hmm?
