New market brings slice of Greek life to Victoria's annual festival
Greek Fest's new market offers feta, ouzo, and handmade crafts
The 23rd Annual Greek Fest, running Aug. 23–25 and Aug. 30–Sept. 2 at the Greek Community Centre (4648 Elk Lake Drive next to Saanich Commonwealth Place), will debut an authentic Greek marketplace, offering attendees a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Greek culture beyond the traditional festival fare.
"We're thrilled to introduce the Agora Greek Market this year," said Tim Petropoulos, event organizer.
