He gave these guys $10,000 per day.  They only lasted about 75 days.

One guy would have kept going for a year.  Other guy missed his family too much.

89M views now.   Not bad.

^ The production value of his videos is very good, and certainly rivals anything on the big networks. Having said that, the title led me to hope that it would be bare knuckle fighting between them. On that basis the video was a let down.

Sad statement on humanity however that this type of content is what people spend their time watching.

I think in this case it was a smart experiment, as he could also count on the viewers of all these other content creators.  So a potential billion subscribed viewers.

I think Jake Paul was the only one I knew.

Ava Kris Tyson, a longtime friend and collaborator of YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson (better known as MrBeast), announced this week that she is leaving the channel after online commentators accused her of “grooming.” 

Tyson regularly appeared on the MrBeast channel, which features outrageous challenges, elaborate giveaways and high-spending comparison videos. Donaldson has 305 million YouTube subscribers, making his channel the most subscribed-to on the platform. 

Tyson, who is a transgender woman, has been subjected to attacks against her identity in the past, and Donaldson has defended her.

Recently, Tyson was criticized for developing a relationship with a minor online beginning when the person was 13 and Tyson was 20. The controversy began after a video in June analyzing online interactions between Tyson and the minor, who goes by LavaGS online, gained traction on YouTube this week.

More online commentators began scrutinizing public posts between Tyson and LavaGS on X and Discord, including some referring to nude photos, sex and hentai, meaning anime **rnography. NBC News was unable to independently verify the posts, which appeared to have been taken down as of Wednesday afternoon.

Beast Games will see about 1,000 participants competing for a $5 million US cash prize — the "biggest single prize in the history of television and streaming," according to a March news release from Amazon Prime. The release called the upcoming show, which is modelled after MrBeast's YouTube videos, the "biggest reality competition series ever."

Drone footage taken by CBC News last week near the abandoned Downsview airport shows a large, cement tower at one end of the set, facing a group of what looks like 12 single-storey houses, set up in two rows along a road dotted with circular gardens. The entire set is surrounded by a red wall.

Mr. Beast (Jimmy Donaldson) is a Youtuber that has made a ton of money posting videos of all sorts of things such as contests and what he does with his money. He reportedly makes $500-700 Million a year on Youtube and has 240 million subscribers.
