Had lunch today at the "Leg" dining room. Wow, great food, good service, great prices. Highly recommend. We will be going back again.

Reservations pretty much mandatory and a bit of a fuss to go through security to get in, but other than that it was a great experience.

Wandering through the basement basically to get there is quite an experience, especially the washrooms. Plumbing fixtures from Shanks and Company out of Barrhead Scotland, they don't make them like that anymore.

I did a trial in that kitchen about 20 years ago. Huge, old, electric, and mint condition. Like going back in time.

Where do you park when you visit the Leg? Can you use the lot along Government at Superior, I think it is?

You must really hate the planet. You bike or take a bus.

Cyclists don’t support BC Transit’s revenues, though. I try to use as much gas as I can, to ensure they get the most funding they can.

Oh wow. Buried deep on the CBC’s website:

The federal government is axing a $1 billion green fund in response to a report by the auditor general that pointed to "significant lapses" in its handling of federal funding.

According to Auditor General Karen Hogan, Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) violated its conflict of interest policies 90 times, awarded $59 million to 10 projects that were not eligible and frequently overstated the environmental benefits of its projects.

Created in 2001, SDTC is a federal foundation that supports small and medium-sized businesses in the clean-tech sector. It entered into a five-year, $1-billion agreement with the department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) in 2021.

The massive surface parking lot on Menzies directly beside the Leg.

We're not all high rollers to have our vehicles valet serviced. I gotta park it somewhere!

Also, I take offence to your insinuation my vehicle guzzles gas.
