2859 Richmond Road - 9 units in Saanich (will complete by late 2025)

A rendering of a car-free development proposal for 933-935 Convent Place in Victoria's Fairfield neighbourhood. 18 townhome units in one through three-bedroom layouts could deliver housing to the two properties, following a change in direction from an earlier development concept.

I saw this proposal recently. I'm not far from Convent Street but don't walk down it often, so I wasn't clear where these were going.

I just "walked" along Google Maps. I can't see the street address for either of these two buildings, but it looks to me like they're in the right location (judging by numbers of adjoining or across-the-streete buildings).

Calling them "townhomes" does not change what they are. Salad and spin, rather tiresome.

More of a ‘town-do’ situation. Still, I like the gentle density and simple, tasteful design. Seems like an overall good project.
