Employee tip: if a leasing agent shows up at your job and starts taking pictures, it would be a good time to consider updating your resume.

I assumed it was the one by Chapters. But it isn't. Methinks they should have clarified the matter.

The Canada.com story about the rats in the McDonald's refers to "The McDonald's restaurant on Douglas Street..."

Ya, I had to think hard to place it as the one opposite CDN Tire. Does that put Quizno's and others in the same building? Rising Star been there long time, no?

Time we revive this thread. Any establishments that appear to be on their last legs? Are the servers asking you to pay them in cash? Are the kitchen staff going home with lobsters down their pants? Is the boss sneaking liquor when no-one is looking? Let's hear it.
Plastic cutlery, paper plates and the cook with long unwashed hair delivers it to your table. I dunno pehaps if you saw behind the kitchen door in some places, you might never eat out again.
Ps; I did see a guy last week with crabs dropping out of his pants.

I wonder how well Posh (in the Mosaic) is doing?

The reasons no doubt are many, but I suspect they fell victim to intense competition from truly local players, in a market that supports the local restaurant in the middle to high end.
I also heard tonight that Stage is for sale, something like $380,000. No, that doesn't include any real estate. I don't think this is reflective of the business not doing well at all - on the contrary, I'd suggest that Stage does consistently well.
Matt.
