Does anyone have any information on these 'modernist' bus stops found in urban areas excluding downtown Victoria? Specifically, I am curious about their years of deployment and plans for long-term maintenance. I'm somewhat fond of these shelters but I imagine that BC Transit may replace them with 'advertising' shelters like the ones downtown.

They may be nice in some of the residential areas but in the areas closer to the downtown core they serve as homeless shelters and toilets. The one near my house recently had two piles of human feces in it.

It has a whole new look!

"Beaver, ahoy!""The bridge is like a magnet, attracting both pedestrians and over 30,000 vehicles daily who enjoy the views of Victoria's harbour. The skyline may change, but "Big Blue" as some call it, will always be there."
