What year was this?
1955?
I am going to guess 1975, just because of the quality of the photo.

1965 to 1970. Trying my best to squint at the cars in the parking lot and the aircraft at the terminal.

There is a 1953 Chevy just right of center, and the plane at left is a DC-4 with Pacific Western.

Not really, I made some of it up but Pacific Western was active at the time and they did fly DC-4's

Pacific Western flew DCs until at least 1969. When was the big hanger at the Coast Guard base built. That stands out quite nicely in the top left of the photo.
