Have been for a couple weeks now, struggled to fly during snow with a couple back to back days of super delayed or canceled flights.
In the spring, adding a second flight 6 days a week, 3 by summer.
Noticed that Alaska has resumed flights from Victoria to Seattle. One flight a day departing around noon.

Pandemic-related decline in air traffic caused Victoria International Airport almost $50 million in revenue
Passenger counts dropped to just 576,000 in 2021 from more than 1.9 million in 2019

576,000 doesn't include December's passenger count.
Oops.
Know it all.

So the airport is running with only about 33% of its passengers from 2019.

It might take another decade to surpass 2018s record of 2 million.

I read the article, found some errors about what the VAA said. Even in 2020, YYJ was the 11th busiest airport in 2020 behind YLW and I see YYJ falling to 12th this year behind YQB.
Mentioned is Flair flying to Kitchener/Waterloo....... that route has been suspended indefinitely
WJ is not returning Saskatoon or Winnipeg this year at all.
Taxi way Echo still hasn't opened to aircraft use since it was finished 2.5 yrs ago, very expensive asphalt

But it’s just planes from countries that believe in voodoo and the like. Countries that don’t follow the science. These are countries where they have serious superstition problems*. Arab countries, Japan, India.
*India is #1.
*Japan #3.

Sea-Tac Airport braces for flight chaos as 5G launch nears
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport will limit flights under some weather conditions as the FAA and phone carriers sort out the launch of 5G. Airlines have raised concerns that the latest generation of wireless phone technology may interfere with aircraft radar altimeters, which help planes navigate in low-visibility situations.
Any chance we can just "follow the science" and determine if this really is an issue or not?

With so much money at stake the science can be whatever you want it to be (ie covid).

You seem very uninformed about the issue.

I try to have little information about lots of issues.
Well, it's definitely impacting more than just "countries that believe in voodoo and the like". US airlines are also affected.

Just an aside: I find such comments offensive.
People often offer the excuse that it is just a joke or the person complaining does not have a sense of humor.

Or that I linked to an article that does?
