nope, can't see any photobucket pics!

I can't see the pics either or follow the links, so it seems like PB is having server issues.

I don't know what's going on.
And why is it some can see pics from photobucket and some can't?
I wonder if it depends on you ISP?
I'm with Shaw. What are you with Monkey?

Sure. I could do that. If I knew what the hell you were talking about.Open a DOS box on your computer and try pinging Photobucket. If you can ping it, it's something else. If you don't get a response, the connection is getting dropped somewhere along the way. If so, call Shaw and ask them to look into it.
Pinging? Whassat?

Re. pinging: you open your command prompt thing -- if you're using a Windows-based computer, go to "start," find "programs," from there find "command prompt." Open that, and then when you have the command line, type PING and SPACE and the name of the site you're trying to reach (for photobucket, type www.photobucket.com -- don't include the http part). Hit RETURN. You should get a response from photobucket -- something that includes a bunch of numbers.
Try this, too: in a regular browser tab/window, type http://66.11.54.5 (that's the IP address for PhotoBucket). If you can reach the site using that IP address (but you can't reach the site using the name Photobucket), then that means you have problems with DNS ("domain name service"). If that's the case, you need to talk to your internet service provider.
More I cannot say, for even this comes to you at second hand, via my at-home sys admin... :-)

I've just figured out what the problem is. I suspect everyone else having problems may be using Firefox like me.
I've tried IE and I can see all Photobucket pics and access my album on photobucket.com.
I haven't figured out how to fix the issue with firefox yet. Maybe someone with more technical expertise and with the same problem I'm having could take a stab at it.
I read on their forum that photobucket just did an upgrade, so I think that why there's a problem all of a sudden. I also read that using shaw/ rogers could be an issue. Maybe being on Shaw and firefox is a lethal combination??

Possible!?? No.
And for the record, I don't know if anyone is still having problems with the pics but I'm with shaw and a firefox-user and... I see the pics fine!

I'm thinking this building must have high ceilings like the Wave if it is only 17 stories yet the same height as View Towers, since View Towers is 19 stories.
