Not sure its been mentioned but the project I noted a few months back at the corner of McKenzie and Saanich are on the Saanich development web page.
Also the development near to the LYRA of 43 units is also listed. Interesting two of the parcels are located in the ALR so will see how it plays out. Don't have much background on this project however.

Noticed our group's project is missing on forum. Some self promotion but I thought I'd post it as it seems to be below the radar at this point.
Sequoia on Watkiss, 44 rental units with ground floor offices at 1950 Watkiss Way in View Royal. Roof is being installed with anticipated completion of December 2018.

Mix of bachelor, 1 bd, 1 bed + den, 2 bed 1 bath, 2 bed+2 bath and 2 bed+den+2 bath.
Will post pictures next time.

Which corner of McKenzie and Saanich? I live next to the Otto development at Royal Woods so I'm really curious. I was looking forward to the end of construction in the area but it's good to see higher density in the area. I'm guessing the southwest corner?

There are better microsuite designs where they offset the hallway or move the door a bit so that you can fit a small desk by the front door. That improves livability a lot.

No counter space adjacent to the stove would be an issue for me as well.

The owner would get one of those handy cutting boards that go right over the sink. Ha, just kidding, millennials don't cook.
