Until the MV Quinitsa pulled in, sporting a US flag. Sure enough, movie crew unloads and does a quick set with cars loading and the ferry leaving, sticks around for an hour or so then heads back.

^Should have put a sign in your window: THIS MOVIE SUCKS" and for fifty bucks you'll take it down.
Even in a relatively small budget movie they have money to burn.
Hello, I'd like to rent a BC Ferry.
Sorry, we don't do that.
[pulls out chequebook]
Yes, ma'am, which ferry and where would you like us to deliver it?

Halloween has come early to Victoria.
Scaredy Cats, a new television series associated with the Air Bud franchise, is currently being filmed in Fernwood.
Last week crews were shooting at George Jay Elementary and on nearby Empress Avenue.
Front yards were full of spooky decorations to simulate Halloween in January. One family’s home was used for some indoor scenes.

They are however allowed to show sports on the big screen and with their LP license they are good to sell booze.

This would be a excellent opportunity for any churches shut by the health orders too. Trade the communion wine for some beers and replace the pastor with the NFL Sunday ticket.
Not just in covid times! Fat chance getting a LP license, those things are expensive!
