Glad to see they got rid of the glass blocks... mostly.

Yup to the right is 601 Herald. This looks decent. I really like the size of the parking entrance. I do not like the deck railings. They cheapen the look. I would have gone with glass or perhaps some sort of aluminum sheeting with holes in it.

Prices seem good starting at 225k.

An ad for this project ran in yesterday's Monday Magazine ; I suppose construction could be underway by summer?

I'm liking this building. Good design, nice interior renderings and decent features at a good price should make it a quick seller.

FYI the sales centre for this project will be opening @ the Aria (737 Humboldt) soon. The Mondrian sales centre may be slated the other vacant retail space at the Aria (the former Kiva Design, located at the base of the north tower).

What ever happened to having a sales centre in the same neighbourhood as the actual development?

^ I agree it seems weird that they do this now. The first one I remember is the Falls showroom being in Vic West or something.

The Aria and Kunju are in the same neighbourhood: downtown. You can reside in either building and still be eligible for membership in the Downtown Resident's Association. :-)

The vibe in those two parts of downtown are completely different.

I will have to see more floor plans( maybe I just missed them on the website) However it is good to see projects like this with a relative affordable price tag going forward. I actually do not mind infill like this however it reminds me how much i despise that pink stucco imperial palace next door

Yes that one is really "of its time". And what an awful setback it has.

So noted that this site is fully graded with the buildings at the back removed. Is the project going to move ahead now or are we going to see it paved for parking?

The site has been cleared. Not sure when that occurred, though.

I recall the site being cleared just after 601 herald being finished (or close to it).

Someone was doing maintenance work in the sales centre today. Perhaps marketing will resume shortly ?

Too bad, nice little in-fill building.
