Hello all, just moved to Langford from Calgary 3 weeks ago. Loving it here so far, but can't seem to find any fitness centres or gyms. I'm in Langford on Glenn lake so if anyone could recommend a gym close by that would be great!
Where are all the fitness gyms?

I am sure the Juan de Fuca Rec Centre has one though I have never tried it.
Also Royal Roads has a YMCA that is open to all.

Only HWY14/Sooke Road. It's pretty much across the road from the casino.

If you can afford it, the fitness centre at Bear Mountain is really, really nice. Full gym, never busy enough you have to wait for machines, salt water pool..the whole nine yards.
BUT, it's something like $500 to buy in plus $75-$100 a month in dues.

Interesting. Langford is supposed to be the young municipality. It's somewhat ironic that Oak Bay contains perhaps the most complete fitness facility in all of Victoria.

Don't know where to put this, but Forge Fitness is moving from it's place in the Mosaic building on Fort St to 851 Yates St, which appears to be the one story building between the Wave condo building and the two story Starbucks/insurance place on the corner of Yates/Quadra.

If you are on Glen Lake Road you could throw a rock and hit the new YMCA facility near Westhills.
