^ From what I am hearing museum management and the board are no less dysfunctional now then they were a year ago. Will likely become more so as the rationale for some of them joining, I am sure, was to deconstruct the existing venue which isn't happening near term.

It also didn't help to announce a nearly $1 billion expenditure when 20% of the voters don't have access to preventative health care (in the form of a family doctor) and a government that seems to be doing nothing to make that better.

Well the message box was that capital spending is one thing and operational spending is another. Unfortunately for the NDP, the public wasn't as stupid as Horgan thought.

When the new head of the museum made her statement slamming all former CEO's as essentially being fat cats, she revealed the same kind of attitude as Donald did at his inauguration when he mocked the living former presidents who were sitting in the audience.  An attitude of arrogance/superiority beyond belief.  The hiring of such an individual does not bode well....

Last time I checked, most people still believe all of this transparently manipulative political nonsense is real...

I reiterate my earlier comment: most people are stupid.

I still have not seen the movie Idiocracy. I think I will watch it tonight. I like documentaries.

It will be frightfully prescient if we stay on our current course.

I'm glad all the asbestos problems fixed themselves.

Since only about 10% of the museum actually has any displays, the odds of visitors coming in contact with asbestos are limited.

That's assuming they avoid the asbestos exhibit.

Asbestos is very much a settler thing, so it's removal will be expedited.

No asbestos current risk as there has been no demo.
