I see that they work well into the dark hours of the day. I guess they need to take advantage of every hour.

Anyone been by the terminal site recently. I know they're working on upgrades but haven't heard anything or seen pics. I assume it'll have to be done soon with nice weather and tourist season soon approaching.
They've been mainly driving new concrete piles but have recently demolished the old Coho vehicle ramp. There are three barges on site. There are also five cranes onsite, that's got to be some kind of record.

I can't possibly see how they can get this complete with only one week remaining, unless there is a temporary docking arrangement somewhere. There are still over 10 pilings that need to be placed, and they are still only pouring the foundations for the Cdn Customs and Immigration booths. Photos from today:

The girders are the apron that will raise and lowers onto the deck of the ferry that the cars drive on.
It will be place into the hole on the right in the 2nd picture where the orange mini excavator is seen

Can anyone guess what will likely happen to the removed piles, timbers, muck etc.?
Some of it might make it's way to tent city to build new structures

Since the loading ramp appears to be situated for a side loading ship, I presume that the Coho is going to be around for awhile yet.
