They cleaned that up faster than I usually put my laundry away.

The developers of 933/935 Convent Place (5 storeys, 19 rental units) have filed a rezoning application on Dev Tracker; plans and a letter from the architect are included?

Anyone have any rumour updates on potential redevelopment of Floyd's, Ageless Living, and/or Ming's? I just want a glimmer of hope that I won't have to look at these fenced up buildings for years to come.
Workers are finally gutting the inside of Floyd's so it's possible we could see demolition soon.
The Ming's site has a border of river rock and a permanent fence (not construction fencing) around it so I assume they're thinking medium-term parking or car storage.

Oof, that detailing. Love the spindles. They didn't skimp on character.

That looks so incredibly similar to the townhouse project on the west side of Shelbourne between Kings and Haultain.

I swear I've seen the exact same townhouses in South Surrey and Langley.

And don't forget about the ones on Richmond that were just put in. they're a bit similar as well https://abstractdeve...nts/avery-lane/
I don't mind though, they look great!

I tend to agree. As far as repetitious building forms go, this design is quite palatable. Still, I wouldn't want to see it repeated on every similar sized lot in the CRD.

That's quite neat! How many units, Kapten?

Just 4 units and they are each between 1250-1300 square feet.

Here's a new townhouse proposal for 1326 Fernwood that offers a contemporary design, courtesy of Curate Developments.
It's 1326 Pandora, not Fernwood. This is currently an empty lot that I often wonder about when I walk by.
