I didn't notice a thread on Mela on here, kinda surprised me with all the popularity of the Humboldt Valley
I had lunch there today, one of the grilled sandwiches. Whats anyone's thoughts on this place?
I always like going, the girls, and owners are usually fairly friendly, almost everything is made there and usually quite yummy, I don't get there very often now that I'm getting lazy and not wanting to climb down the crane...Get my rigger to go every now and again and pick me up a spot of lunch!
Any experiences good or bad?

Every experience there has been great. I like it and would go more often if it was closer to the office than other coffee shops.
Know it all.

Mela is great -- it's so nice to get real table service, too. Excellent coffees, great treats/ baked goods. Everything I've had there has been very, very good.
Its drawback is that it's really small and there isn't much interior seating, which makes it cozy if you're going with just one other person, but tricky if there's a group of you.
I haven't tried the teahouse they've opened two doors down (in conjunction with ...?, Winchester Galleries?, some art gallery, anyway).

When you buy a game, you buy the rules. Play happens in the space between the rules.
