Cafe Vieux Montreal is gone for good. Most of the space's assets were sold off last week.

I believe that Bon Rouge had closed it's bakery a while ago but just hired a new full-time baker this past week.

I noticed that the B-Red Bakery on Tillicum is closed. It's about midway between Fairway and Tillicum Mall in the old Pizza Pieman location. It was only open a couple of months and there's already a "for lease" sign on it.

"Beaver, ahoy!""The bridge is like a magnet, attracting both pedestrians and over 30,000 vehicles daily who enjoy the views of Victoria's harbour. The skyline may change, but "Big Blue" as some call it, will always be there."

They had very high prices for ok product. They also operated on banker's hours. A good bakery is open by 7 am at the latest, they opened at 10am and closed at 4 pm.

The owners were also very under capitalized

I thought their pizzas were lusciously good. Although the honey and poppy seed crust was odd.
