Hotel rates in Vancouver go down quite a bit in the winter. It’s not unusual to find the shangri la, pacific rim, rosewood for less than $200 a night.

Seattle is getting ridiculous for hotels though.

Jeez Mike where the hell are you staying in Vancouver, lol? When we go and because our friends are mostly in Yaletown-Granville-Kits we stay typically at the Westin Grand; the last time out - in the summer - an 18th floor suite w/2 queen size beds was about $250........

You’d be staying with your friends this weekend, it looks like.

Sometimes you find a bargain basement deal with no addons, for sure. But it doesn’t always work out that way.

It's overpriced right now; shrug. Most hotels for the same search are under $250, many under $200.
