Be sure to turn cars cabin air to recirculate for the indoor drive-through part.. or is the air in your car higher risk?

Got a new and improved cabin air filter for my car they were going to charge me $90 at the shop (installed) did it myself with YouTube videos $30.

The Victoria Wonderland event at Ogden Point is also in question.

Organizer Mike Wilson said Monday afternoon that after hearing the provincial health update it’s likely the drive-through light show will be cancelled.

“We’ve been trying to reach out to ask if we can proceed for the past five days, but we haven’t heard anything back from anyone,” said Wilson. “We are still trying.”

How is sitting in one's car not safe?

it encourages mixing of households.

Only if there is a collision between cars.

But sitting on a bus, or on a jetliner isn’t?

Lots of inconsistencies here.

The pub, restaurants, fast food places and gyms. It’s all good. But you can’t partake in a Christmas event.

the thinking clearly is that one off or special event cancellations do not somehow affect ongoing employment or have economic impacts.

It clearly has an economic impact on the company putting on the event.

The Greater Victoria Harbour Authority plans to establish shore power for cruise ships at Ogden Point, although it doesn’t know when the $25-million project will start.

The authority’s board of directors made the decision late last week after a consultant’s report concluded there is a business case to be made for shore power. With the installation of shore power, the reduction in greenhouse-gas emissions at Ogden Point is expected to be the equivalent of taking 1,394 cars off the road per year.

Come 2021, the industry will gradually start to brush itself off. But it is a mixed bag when it comes to restart dates: some lines, such as Celebrity, Oceania, Viking and Marella Cruises are aiming (at the time of writing) to sail by the end of January, while others, such as Azamara, Crystal Cruises, Cunard, P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, and Holland America are holding off until March, April and in some cases even later.

The landscape will be buoyed by more than a dozen key launches next year, including AmaWaterways’ 34-stateroom AmaDahlia, set to sail the Nile from September 2021, and Tradewind Voyages’ introductory season in the UK with the sustainable sailing ship Golden Horizon, which will cruise without engines for around 70 per cent of each season.

That’s actually a bit relevant this week with the brouhaha over the canceled plan for PLA army training in Canada.

When was the last time they trained in Canada?

Are those photos of the possibly last friendly visit?

quantam of the seas is scheduled to make regular calls this summer.

Quantum of the Seas is a Quantum-class cruise ship currently operated by Royal Caribbean International and is the lead ship of her class. At her time of delivery in 2014, Quantum of the Seas was the third largest cruise ship in the world by gross tonnage.

347.7 m (1,141 ft)

4905 passengers maximum.

1500 crew.

quantumoftheseas1.jpg

It’s time to raise the bar on adventure. North Star® elevates you high above the ship for unrivaled 360-degree views from over 300 feet above sea level. Just step into the observation capsule — winner of the Guinness World Record for tallest viewing deck on a cruise ship.

it would be neater if that capsule dropped into the ocean and then went down 300 feet.
