I expect a slam dunk for Carole James of the NDP in this riding. Dallas Henault is the Liberal flag bearer.
The riding has lost Vic West to Esquimalt Royal Roads but gained the area between Bay, Pandora, Cook and the water.

Viola Langley
I am a 33 year old mother with two teenage daughters.
I was born and raised in the East Coast, I have lived in Victoria over 6 years now and am very happy I made the move to this beautiful city.
In 2007 I went on tour to Afghanistan with (CFPSA) Canadian Forces Personnel Support Agency.
I have many years working directly with people and working in management.
I do not have a political background but with my background I have become very strong and have the belief that anything is possible, any change can be made if you push hard enough and have the courage to pursue what you believe in. Which I do!

Adam Saab was born in Smithers but grew up in the BC interior. From a young age he learned the importance of being politically active and the value of public service. As a Green, Saab is dedicated to responsible governance through sound fiscal and environmental management. He has committed himself to positive change that respects the long-standing values of British Columbians and believes the best interests of all will be served through more co-operation and less partisanship in government.
Saab attended the University of British Columbia in Kelowna and graduated in 2008 with a double major in Philosophy and Psychology. During his studies he spent summers in Toronto working at the Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute in association with the University of Toronto studying the neuro-physiology of memory formation.
Upon completing his schooling, Saab moved to Victoria to spend more time with his family and has truly become a member of the Victoria community. He is active in local politics and passionate about the many unique issues facing the citizens of Victoria. Saab's recent bid for federal office during the 2008 general election led him to understand that most of the issues that matter the people of Victoria are under provincial jurisdiction.
Saab has been active in Victoria as a hard-working and professional political organizer and he has generated more financial and volunteer support than the Green Party has ever seen in this riding. Saab brings with him experience working with the Greens in municipal, provincial, and federal campaigns.
As an energetic, thoughtful, and passionate candidate, Saab is committed to principled politics and practical solutions. He believes our prosperity and well-being depend upon the balance between a strong economy and a healthy environment. He is prepared to work hard for the citizens of Victoria and build a government that is prepared for the challenges of climate change and an aging population. Saab understands the strain retiring boomers will place on social services as well as the need for vibrant local economies and long-term resource management.

All four Victoria Beacon Hill candidates -
Carole James, Dallas Henault, Adam Saab and Viola Langley have confirmed their attendance.
The session is sponsored by Our Place, the Homelessness Action Committee and Faith in Action, who will be sending the candidates 3-4 questions in advance, to be answered at the meeting.
Members of the public will be asked to put their questions in writing. Those questions will be put to the candidates by the moderator. There will also be some time for questions direct from audience members (with priority given to those directly experiencing poverty and/or homelessness).

Maybe we could have STV in just our ridings then!
Sounds good to me!
