What restaurants are open past 9? What kinds of price ranges are they?

We have the Mint - which is pricey, right? Any others?
5th Street is open to 11:00 on Fridays and Saturdays and it is reasonably priced.

Any others?

Any sushi?

The mint isn't too bad for price as far as I remember.

I don't think the Mint is that pricey at all.
Cactus Club is open later, so is Romeo's on Hillside (at least it used to be)

I really crave Sushi but I wont be able to go out until 9ish Friday night. Hard Rock is open until 9:30, but it isn't exactly what I am looking for. Anyone know what time other sushi joints are open till?

We won't be able to offer the full menu, but we will have almost all of the tapas, desserts and a selection of the sandwiches (hopefully including the legendary 8-ball burger) will be on offer.

Thanks for your interest, and see you soon!

I have to say that I have been to the Bistro about 6 times now and am very impressed with the food. They do have great tapas too.

The James Joyce Bistro got an excellent review in last Thursday's T-C.

I think it's the best thing that's happened (or could happen) to the Commerce Mall (until they put a subway stop beside it--heh.)

It makes a big difference when a business decorates with original artwork, especially when a local artist gets showcased. That is the kind of uniqueness I love to see in this city. It adds to the feeling of "place" and of discovery.

If you don't want fancy, the QV bakery on Government St. Fabulous food, great tunes playing, and the best apple crisp pie I've ever had. Very reasonable prices too for what you get.

I remember a time about 12 years ago when people had a wide array of choices for dining 24 hours a day. While there wasn't a lot of high-end places, you could choose between the Day and Night restaurant, Scott's, Alzu's Denny's, QV and Paul's. Today only Denny's and Alzu's remain 24 hours in spite of the city's growth.

What happened?

<edit>This should probably be moved to the food and dining section. Sorry about that!

Mac's Coffee on Gorge Rd. was 24 hours, no? Isn't that the Romeo's now?
