It will be playing in Victoria so that should be enough of a tie in.

“We have several productions scheduled to film here this summer and fall including a German Canadian co-production, Disney’s Upside Down Magic, and Front Street Pictures will be returning with a couple of exciting projects,” said Andrea Rodgers, administrative co-ordinator for the VISFMC.

^ On the local filming front, there's a permit issued for filming at Hillside Centre. I assume inside the old Sears?

It was filmed in English which most of us speak, and many of the actors and production crews are citizens of a nation built from a former British Colony and we started as a British Colony! The connections are so deep how could O have ever missed them!

Apologies all around. ;)

Beacon Wharf in Downtown Sidney briefly transformed into a part of the United States Wednesday as Hallmark Productions shot scenes of Mysteries of Martha’s Vineyard. The show is scheduled to air in 2020 and is currently filming in the Greater Victoria. It stars Jesse Metcalfe and Canadian-born Sarah Lind.

There's a great New Yorker story from a long time ago and the reporter is on Trump's jet and they start watching Michael with John Travolta but Trump soon gets bored and tells Eric Trump to put one of his favourite movies, Bloodsport with Van Damme in the VCR. Trump says watch me get this down to 45 minutes and Eric dutifully and expertly fast-forwards to the good parts full of face bunching and ball breaking.

They have something set up at Ogden Point for their marshalling of various parts of the production as well as the background performers. My understanding is they will be shooting Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Some Inner Harbour action on Tuesday, I believe.

One could argue that an episode of the our own Twlilight Zone gets filmed several times a month at City Hall already.
