I think the personality has a choice.  But it pays pretty big direct money to the host to do it.

WE received a nice report on the Dow and the Nasdaq today at the 1pm newscast on CFAX.  Except they are closed today.  News folks likely just looked at Friday's data and though it was today's.

For me, C-Fax has gone so far downhill in recent years it's almost embarrassing to hear them, and what they have become.

 

Their was a time when C-Fax was a station everyone could enjoy regardless of their political beliefs, religious beliefs, or personal values. The station WAS Unbiased and took a Neutral stance in all of its programming.

 

Today, it has morphed into this left wing main stream media machine that does nothing but spout left wing propaganda through it's on air talk shows 12 plus hours a day.

 

The station FIRED their only truly down to earth intelligent on air personality Ian Jessop for simply expressing himself freely on the air and having guests on his shows that were Conservative and or Right Wing.

 

Such a sad, sad state of affairs down at C-Fax these days.

 

I hope to see a change in the future, but I can only see that under new station management or under new ownership.

Adam Stirling is a say-it-like-it-is sort of radio personality. He takes a pragmatic approach and doesn't tow any party lines. On one issue he may appear more left-wing, on another more right-wing. You have to appreciate that for what it is.

I can't say that Brennae, Sterling and Perkins are very left.  And they are the only talk-show hosts left.  I guess you might say Al F. is left, or at least he's not a hard interviewer.

KOOL FM has a Saturday night show, 10pm to 3am, that's today's big hits, but remixed by (off air) DJs.  It's real good!

Oh no! I liked Kim Emerson. He didn't mince his words. I can't stand the national news reader they have in the evening. It's a woman with the most annoying drawl. Not a big fan of women in radio either (I'm female and I find their voices are displeasing for the most part).

 

I was looking forward to Kim returning from Christmas vacation but I guess he's not. Wonder if it's because he disliked Lisa Helps so much?

That woman you hear in the evenings is actually a Trans Gendered named James who now identifies as a man, but still has a deep female voice.
