They are three separate lots with  separate addresses

Canadian Tire is at 3993 Cedar Hill Rd

Tim Horton's and Boston are at 3990 Shelbourne

Canadian Tire and BP buildings where they meet .....are right on the property line that divides them

I only go there because it has a drive-thru.  I don't like the renovation.  The order/pickup area at the left is quite poorly done.

The parking has never been great. I usually park at Home Depot and walk through the hole in the wall.

^There's acres of parking if you're willing to park past Canadian Tire. There are spaces with moss on them because no car has ever ventured there.

On the subject if the wall, here is a quote from the TC from 2004:

"Mark Jones, owner of the nearby Tim Hortons, supported Home Depot as complementing his restaurant. "I believe and have always believed that business brings business." He hoped the store could work at persuading the University Heights owners to tear down the wall screening his place and Canadian Tire from the mall.
"I'd love to see it come down. It's an ugly wall," said Jones.

Mayor Frank Leonard said he was asking "the Pink Floyd question - - the wall, how will it be different in your development."

Home Depot's plan is to block two existing informal accesses through the wall and create one wide pedestrian entrance out of a third, and a wide sidewalk connecting to the front of Home Depot. It would be safer, its consultant said.

"Whether it's Pink Floyd's wall or the Berlin Wall, it needs to be opened up," said Cubberley."

Agreed, but a lot of money was spent redoing the inside and out.

It's a separate building so whatever happens with CT/BP need not affect the TH on the edge of the property.

*I wonder if the NSA's computers just got bogged up trying to figure out what the acronyms mean?

I'm not an expert in zoning maps, but Canadian Tire, the BP building and Timmies are divided by yellow lines.  Are those lines simply address dividers, or do they denote property boundaries too?  I don't know if the same owner owns it all or not.

I remember when Baskin Robbins was there where the nail place is now.

Good catch. I hadn't look at the property boundaries, so I assumed the whole thing was one lot. Given the building straddles the two western lots, that lot boundary is more notional than real (although it does make rezoning/variances somewhat more problematic because that means you need to potentially combine those lots)

A place called Dak has opened in the 800-block of Fort Street across from Price's Lock. It appears to be an Asian cuisine place.

Tried this out today for lunch. Quite tasty with some good vegetarian options - I'll be back!

Fry it for under 2 minutes, otherwise it gets a bit tough.

I'd say it's probably a Taqueria.

Ha ha.  Just wondered if we had talked about it yet.   Seems we have a new taco place every day.

Enough of these taco joints. What I wouldn't give for a real deal Montreal smoked meat shop to open up.

Move to Quebec. West Coasters will never embrace cuisine West of the BC boarder. Except beef, but that is universal.

Broughton street deli does a pretty good Montreal smoked meat sandwich.

How about La Belle Patate in Esquimalt?   I agree there is overkill on the mexi scene
