That being said, there's a pop-up art gallery in the old Staples space right now.
Know it all.

It's the Camosun College visual arts grad show. Check it out before it goes so you can see some cool art and get a rare glimpse at the interior of 747 Fort.

Thanks for the heads-ups, Kapten K!
Chicken 649's Quadra Street location in Victoria's North Park neighbourhood. The Korean fried chicken eatery will be opening its second location at Fairfield's Cook Street Village by mid-year in a space formerly occupied by Rosie's Diner.

See thread title
That is some deep-fryer level burn right there.
EDIT: They could also draw chicken logos on walls for the food services industry...

The old Nubo space on Pandora is being reno'd. One of the improvements is the addition of a sake bar. The tenant listed on the building permit is "Restaurant - E'ne." Anyone have the scoop?

I'll take "Pretentious Restaurant Names" for $1000, Alex.

In the current issue of Eat Magazine there's a short article on Nubo that states "He [owner Shawn Lee] has a sake bar opening soon..."

The last post in their Facebook/Instagram is a notice that they're temporarily closed to do some cleaning and take a well deserved break. Posted on April 7, no updates since.

I've known Tomas for many years and I can assure you, there's nothing to see, here. He has a young family and is probably looking to spend some quality time with them before the hectic summer season really picks up.
