No, no and NO. Look at some of their copy: Let’s face it…on the go has never been a good place for sliced pizza. It’s flimsy, floppy and nearly unthinkable. They're literally solving a problem that does not exist. I half expect them to put out an infomercial showing how the average Canadian tries to eat a slice of pizza while walking and failing horribly at it.
The funny thing I was just discussing how Tuscany Village is really the least Italian thing ever, when VV basically said to me, "Here, hold my beer..." and proceeded to assail my senses with this abortion.

I'd try it if the price is right. Probably tastes no different than normal (not Italian) pizza so whatever.

But isn't this just an open-ended calozne of sorts? What's the big deal about that?

It actually looks more like an open-ended Pillsbury Pizza Pop or a Hot Pocket than a calzone. I'm more annoyed with their marketing about how they've solved one of society's great problems.

Ugh, that's pretty gross when described that way.

Hive Eatery (by the ppl who own Cottage Bakery) will soon open in the former Fairfield Fish and Chips on Fairfield Road.
Hive is now open... they recently sported a sign with the pun, “Come see why the buzz is about!”

The new owner of Chorizo is Stephen Quigley, GM of Stage.
I understand that he and his wife were going to operate it together, but she passed suddenly within the past few weeks. Very sad.
