At the Rathskeller? At least 2-3 times each year. Much more often than when it became a Mexican restaurant.

if every victorian tried to eat there once a year many would be left out.
360,000/365 days = ~1,000 people per day.
so not eating there ever leaves more room for others.

Ramen Arashi is opening a location in Victoria. It looks like it's a chain with locations in Banf, Canmore, and Las Vegas.

Great addition to the Langford food scene. Is it going into the new building currently being built?

Give it a few more years and the West Shore might well be the place to be. More fun things all the time.

Oh that’s too bad....rathskeller turned mexican restaurant did not last too long.
$149,900
Large 3600 sq ft 120 seat well positioned restaurant with bright Mexican decor, but easily changed. Location has been a restaurant for many years before current tenant. Fully equipped large kitchen. 2nd floor rooms 1000 sq ft are free, and they include 2 sets of washrooms. Family issues require this sale.

i was at the Bay Centre on Saturday, and it appears that the Mr. Pretzel outlet (lowest mall level not far from Jugo Juice) may have closed. This could be due to the very small size of the outlet making it hard to socially distance, and perhaps the closure is not permanent.

They had opened for a couple months over the summer, then closed again around Thanksgiving. I asked the Bay Centre customer service folks who wouldn't say whether it was temporary or permanent. Mr. Pretzel does have a kiosk at Uptown now so maybe they just moved the whole operation.

So... is Citrus and Cane, a new cocktail lounge, technically a tenant of the BC Government, at their supported housing development for people facing barriers including substance addictions?

yes. but at low barrier housing facilities abstinence is not a promoted path to recovery. so it does not really matter.

Nice. That looks like right across the street from House of Botang that’s been getting a lot of traction, out in Langford.
Not across from Boateng, it's mapped as the same area as the RCMP and Boston Pizza. Likely taking over that little Pho place that didn't have proper ventilation. Colleague lived there, the smell of beef would come up the closet walls...

No accounting for it being in bad taste, I suppose.

Formerly it was in the location of the office building going up on Hockley at Peatt, across from Boatang.

The map changed since Mike and I looked at it. Wonder if they changed their minds...
