"Tessa patio" doesn't seem to be a common phrase, Google says.

too cheap to be earls, nellies, etc. Pags wouldn’t be for sale for that low either but they did do a massive kitchen reno recently..

At one point during Covid, Pags expanded into the retail space next door. Not sure if they are still doing that. But that certainly added a lot more table space.

That's always been part of its "charm".

I don't do that kind of charm, listening to everybody else's conversations is something I find annoying.

I recently saw traffic moving one-way northbound along Broad between Broughton and Fort. I was surprised to see a vehicle poke out of there.
Delivery vehicle maybe?

Chiba Sushi, which has operated for many years at Douglas/Hillside, has moved two blocks east to the Quadra Village (former Sante Gluten Free Cafe location) at 2630 Quadra Street. I believe this move may have been precipitated by the pending redevelopment of the Sandman Hotel property.
Also, Lee's Chicken in Esquimalt opened on Tuesday, Sept. 5...

Ismo says it’s underground work.
I just want to be clear... That block of Broad is now pedestrian only, except for early deliveries... The issue with the underground i was talking about is the vaults under the west sidewalk. There is enough concern that it could crumble as the supports are rotting. So that's why the sidewalk is blocked. This isn't why the street is pedestrian only...
I don’t think so? I’m trying to recall but it looked to me like the concrete barrier was shifted to allow traffic to exit onto fort.
Yes delivery traffic in the mornings. If there was a non-delivery vehicle in there, it shouldn't have been...

Ok, got it. Before it was completely closed.
Yes, it was a sedan/passenger vehicle.
No Pags always got early morning deliveries... I've suggested they could have a loading zone beside the Broad St cross walk on Fort... Nice spot to pull over...
