Chipotle opens in Langford

Chipotle Mexican Grill opened its first location in Langford on Wednesday in Westshore Town Centre.

 

The U.S.-based restaurant brings the brand’s Canadian footprint to 70 locations to date, and the second for the region after an opening at 1070 Douglas St. downtown last year.

 

The fast food chain, known for its tacos, burritos and salads, set up in a 2,500-square-foot space in the Langford mall at 2945 Jacklin Rd.

 

The company said there are 30 jobs per location on average, with competitive benefits, including referral bonuses for employees and tuition reimbursements.
