^Got it. I'm not so much concerned about portion size since I eat like a bird. (No ostrich jokes, please)

Has anyone here tried the new Mosi Florentine Bakery & Cafe's location near Oak Bay Rec?

Speaking of the University Heights area, my daughter and I tried out this place: https://www.bigwayho...ahoC_ZUQAvD_BwE

If you're a hot-pot fan, this was excellent.

It was super busy, but had empty tables which weren't being waited on - which usually translates into being either short-staffed, or misjudging how busy mid-day during the week would be, and closing down tables and adjusting staffing accordingly.

It's brand new, so growing pains while figuring things out are to be expected.

Food was excellent, and service was extremely attentive once we were seated.

The (non) people at empty tables are notorious for not ordering anything though.    :teacher:

Wow, discriminate much against invisible people? I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. The healthcare system also discriminates against them. My kid woke up invisible one day so I rushed him to the doctor's office, but they said they wouldn't be able to see him.

Anyway, it sounds like Blair M. liked the hot pot place in a big way.

Where Original Joe's was? That's Tuscany Village.

My wife tried the Korean one at Chiq-Q and liked it too. I think theres now 3 places with hot pot within 1 km of UVic, Laila Laila is the other.

Popeye's supplements or Popeye's chicken? Or Popeye's supplements for Chickens?

Maybe it doesn't even matter. It is what it is.

Sorry, I've never been very punctual. It's a tragedy, I tells ya, a real apostrophe. Maybe I'm lacking vitamins. Anyway, I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a chicken burger today.

Still no takers here.

$100,000/Monthly

Sale of Assets of currently operating successful Fish and Chips restaurant. Lease in place until end of April and landlord expressed interest in willing to extend. Great opportunity with just an investment for the purchase of the equipment!

$100,000 monthly? How massive is this place? Is that a mistake on purpose?

130-150 orders a day? Open for lunch and dinner? Maybe a lil liquor license?

The price is incorrectly listed as "per month" instead of the $100,000 total purchase price.

Is it fish on fifth? If so, they seem to do pretty good business. Been around a long time. It's the only place you can get a dole whip in sidney. That's something.

The dining room at Butchart Gardens finds itself in some prestigious company on the OpenTable Top 100, the only restaurant on Vancouver island to make the list.

We did a staff event a few years back, with dinner here and it was truly over the top.
