Amazed at the difference in poll results - Ipsos Reid and Globe and Mail

Van Sun - basically saying the the BC Liberals are a shoe-in and James is 'begging' Green voters to vote NDP.
47% vs 39%

Globe and Mail - Parties are tied and Jame's popularity is on par with Campbell. 44% to 42%

That's a massive difference in 2 polls - this election looks like it is still anyone's to win/lose.

I have a feeling that the Libs will win unfortunately. On the bright side the carbon tax will remain.

Might as well make it public record. Voting NDP and YES to STV.

Q? for VV people - what TV channel, radio station or website is best to access for results this evening?

I don't have TV at the moment, I'll probably just depend on Bernard's blog for up-to-the-date election information ;)

I'll switch back and forth between Bill Good and Tony Parsons.
CBC may have some coverage.

CBC Newsworld had good coverage of the last Quebec provincial election, but I suspect that as results roll into CBC HQ well after 11pm their time, they may have mostly gone home. Maybe they will prove me wrong, or they'll do coverage from their Vancouver news centre.

Well - I am set up on CHEK, CBC Radio 1, and on the web. (Bernard - I will be watching your blog)

STV I think is dead - which is unfortunate. Looking forward to seeing turnout numbers.

Yep - I am off to bed. No use in watching the results. About a 13% transfer vote to the Libs province wide. NDP will get Van Ilse.

And the Liberals will spend the next 4 years punishing Van Isl. The only infrastructure they will give us will be more asphalt for logging roads in anticipation of new development.

Who the hell re-elects people like George Abbott? Rich Coleman? John Les and John Van Dongen?
