The LED roof lights are on tonight. They started out blue, but are now red/orange. Celebrating the first move-ins?

The biggest benefit imo is acceptance of packages from couriers, which kinda does require their presence all day. With free shipping from places like amazon and Costco, I’ve literally not been in anything but a grocery store since March. Which means packages all the time. It’s fine because of wfh, but under normal conditions, every other package gets dumped at the pickup location. Concierge was budgeted at $110k/year I think so that is like $50/mo per unit. Even one avoided excursion/mo to UPS makes it worth it to me. Plus there are other benefits like more eyes on the building (definitely needed with BC Housing’s moves..).If it kept my strata fees lower*, I'd take on the "burden" of collecting my own mail. It's only about 3 pieces a month for me these days anyway.
* how many concierges would need to be employed for daily mail delivery to every unit in HP1?

There's some helpful discussion happening, but with more owners the group becomes even more useful.

The speed with which this building was constructed is nothing short of amazing.
For sure. Just over two years ago, when I started working nearby, it was just a hole in the ground.

It seems like only 14 years ago when we were wondering why the Hudson redevelopment was taking so long.

I kid. Relax.

Can someone please identify HP1 for me in Gary's pics? All new buildings look exactly the same -- especially new condo buildings -- so I'm having trouble picking it out.

A 23 year-old resident of this building was only nine when the Hudson public open house was announced.

I'm curious to know the people who have the coin to pay the strata fees this building will bring...

Why do you think the strata fees here would be any worse than any other newer building downtown? I live in a building with a pool/gym, etc. and our starta fees aren't insane.

I fail to see where I compared it to any other newer building downtown, or called the fees insane. Besides, insane fees would be relative to the payer.
