Can I just say I like spotting out this building every time I look out the window?
The punchline is, you live in Hudson Mews?

If I did, I would be complaining about Place One taking away my privileged view to the Save-on-Foods arena

I must admit I am a bit disappointed that HP-1 hasn't chosen to illuminate their roof feature in red this evening. It's been blue now for at least 2 weeks.

Despite the current economic situation it doesn't seem like owners are having trouble renting their 1-beds in the building. A lot of units coming and going, anywhere to $1700 to $2100 and most seem to go within a week. Unsurprisingly there's a pretty big floor premium people are willing to pay.

^If I don't get at least one like for that then I predict some broken windows tonight at VV headquarters.

Hoping my windows are safe now.

It must be exciting for people who are moving in!
I'm surprised it's only 70% sold though...didn't they quote that percentage late last year as well? Seems like a unique buy, if not a bit overpriced.

That's still over 120 homes, which if you consider on a unit-by-unit basis, is a higher sold-out rate than the total unit count of several other active projects combined.

I am noticing more lights on in windows each night, at least on the east facing side.

This building seems to give off a 21st-century "Camosack Manor" vibe for some reason. Does anyone agree? Did I already say this? I'm not saying this vibe is good or bad. I'm just feeling it.
One thing I really don't care for is the cornice that caps off the brick-covered part of the podium. Is cornice the right word here? Anyway, I mean the treatment of it looks cheap. It should have been a bit fancier, either via details or cladding materials or both.

That's weird. Are those units on the east side getting darker? Why would they need more lights on each night? And won't they eventually run out of space for new lights?

While I appreciate the humour intended in this response, the reason I am only seeing a greater number of units on the east side illuminated, is because that is the only facade that is fully visible from my condo.

Thanks for clarifying.

Clear communication can help us to avoid the intensely bitter arguments that tend to rage on this board. I'm still seething about that thing Mike K. said.
